Student Educational Events
JA’s TITAN program gives grade 10-12 students the confidence to go after their entrepreneurial dreams. Students take part in an interactive online challenge where they become CEOs of their own company. They must create a business strategy and strive to succeed in a highly competitive industry. Prior to participating in the online challenge, volunteers from the corporate community facilitate a workshop around the key concepts that the students will be exposed to through the online challenge.
World of Choices
World of Choices is a one-day event that brings high school students together with career mentors from a variety of career paths. From JA’s It’s My Future program, students will learn about developing a personal brand and how to identify career paths. Students will also have an opportunity to participate in small group discussions with mentors where they can find out more about roles and opportunities in various fields.
World of Choices – Empowering Young Women
This World of Choices event will provide 240 female high school students with an opportunity to hear from women who have achieved success in a variety of sectors. This event will inspire young women and help them to understand the limitless opportunities available to them as they pursue their educational and career goals.
