Thermaloom Wins JA Spring 2026 Pitch Your Vision
Congratulations to Thermaloom from St. Augustine Catholic High School for winning the Spring 2026 JA Pitch Your Vision competition!
The team developed an innovative solution that transforms mycelium, a portion of fungi, into biodegradable foam tiles for insulation and packaging.
Reflecting on the experience, the students shared:

This spring, JA Pitch Your Vision engaged 575 students across 23 classrooms with the opportunity to refine business ideas while developing teamwork, problem-solving, pitching and critical thinking skills.
“This program helped me better understand the process of developing a real business idea, […] This was both a challenging and rewarding project that helped me develop crucial skills and spend time working with peers”, the students shared.
