Police Screening - Toronto

The following instructions are for those who live in Toronto with a home postal code that starts with ‘M’.

Apply for Police Vulnerable Sector Check Online
  • When completing the online application, please ensure you are completing an application for the Vulnerable Sector Check
  • When completing the online application, add in information when requested:
    1. Position: Learning Experience Facilitator
    2. VSC Organization Code: 202309TPSONECD2E
    3. Vulnerable Clientele Duties: Volunteer will deliver educational programing to children between the age of 8 - 18 years old.
    4. List which vulnerable sectors you will be working with (list all that apply): Children between the age of 8-18 years old.
  • Please let your JA Contact know once you have submitted your application.
  • Applications cost $26.72 – Instructions for reimbursement or tax receipt will be provided by your JA contact when your screening is returned to JA. Please keep a copy of your receipt.
  • Please complete your application online.
Return the Original Police Vulnerable Sector Check to JA Central Ontario
  • Results will be shared via email from the Toronto Police Service.
  • JA Central Ontario will not be notified of the results of your Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Your vulnerable sector check needs to be emailed to your JA Central Ontario contact once you receive it in your email.
  • You will not be eligible to volunteer if we do not have the original document before your scheduled volunteer day.
