Empowering the next generation to become entrepreneurs and leaders in the skills trades and technology sectors.
This initiative connects high school youth aged 15-18* with skilled trades and technology career pathways. Students build critical life skills and networks to empower them to succeed in these vital sectors.
The program will run from October 2021 to March 2022.
*youth must turn 15 by December 31, 2022
JA's Building a Stronger Future has three exciting elements:
Connecting youth to trades and technology careers
Through an interactive, online event that will include talks from industry experts, networking opportunities and an opportunity to explore these amazing pathways.
This event will take place in early October 2021 - exact date to be confirmed.
With JA's Company Program, through which they will create, develop and run their very own business with support from trades and tech industry professionals - giving students the skills they need to thrive as leaders and entrepreneurs in these key sectors.
This event will run from November 2021 to March 2022. Registration information will be available soon.
At a program wrap-up event that will highlight students' Company Program successes and allow them to network with industry professionals as they consider their future career paths.
