JA Central Ontario welcomes new Board members
JA Central Ontario is delighted to welcome five new members to our Board of Directors, each bringing a wealth of experience and expertise from a range of backgrounds. Together with the existing Board of Directors, our new members will be responsible for providing oversight and support across all our operations.

As we begin to implement our 2025 strategic plan, we are looking forward to working with both our Board of Directors to continue to empower young people in our changing world.”
Directors serve for a term of two years, supporting our work, proving governance, and ensuring we continue to equitably impact students across our region.

Meet our New Directors:
Naveen Balakrishnan – TD Securities
Naveen is COO & Head of Investment Banking Technology, TD Securities. In his role, Naveen is responsible for supporting the Global CTO with all strategic and operational needs of the group including Strategy, Business Management, IT Support & Engineering, Project Delivery, Innovation and Cyber Security. Naveen most recently served as Director and Treasurer on the Board of Children's Aid Society and leads community engagements with several non-profit organizations. Additionally, Naveen is currently an active Mentor with Toronto Business Development Centre to help incubate new start ups wanting to grow in Canada.
Nicole Court – Aecon Group Inc.
Nicole is a Senior Director, Corporate Affairs at Aecon Group Inc. Nicole Leads Aecon’s issues management and risk mitigation activities, providing counsel to senior executives to navigate a broad spectrum of issues across the enterprise. As Senior Director of Corporate Affairs at Aecon, Nicole led the company’s charitable giving strategy and worked closely with many organizations across Canada to align Aecon’s goals as a corporate citizen with their mandates.
Rhonda Klosler – RSM Canada
Rhonda is the national chief operating officer of RSM Canada, Rhonda works closely with the business and operations teams on executing the firm’s strategic vision and expansion of RSM Canada as a national firm. At RSM, stewardship is a big part of their strategy, and Rhonda has been involved in JA Central Ontario as a Governor for several years – the last two being the Chair of the Board of Governors as well as advocating for and supporting JA in her leadership role at RSM Canada – both through corporate financial support as well as supporting the Company Program.
Tracy Molino – Dentons Canada LLP
Tracy is Legal Counsel at Dentons Canada LLP where she provides advice to clients in the financial services industry regarding compliance with regulatory requirements. Dentons LLP Canada has hosted JA Central Ontario Company Program Interview Night pre-pandemic and is a supporter of JA Central Ontario. Tracy also previously served as a Director at West Toronto Support Services until their amalgamation with Humber Community Senior Services in 2020.
Vivian Leung – CPA Canada
Vivian is a Chartered Professional Accountant and is with CPA as Senior Principal in the Tax Group. Vivian has twenty years of experience in Canadian corporate taxation. Acting in the interest of the public, CPA Canada’s Taxation group influences the development of an equitable, effective, and efficient tax system in Canada, as well as delivers practical information and fresh perspectives on tax to members and the broader tax community.
