Jamal Pascall: Leadership That Open Doors
As we celebrate Black History Month, we’re spotlighting Jamal Pascall, Senior Strategic Manager at RBC and Emerging Leader on JA Central Ontario’s Board of Directors, who is driven by a belief that opportunity should never be limited by circumstance.
Jamal’s commitment to youth empowerment is rooted in lived experience and the mentors who helped shape his journey.
“Talent is everywhere, but access isn’t,” Jamal shares. “I’ve been fortunate to have had individuals invest in me when I was young. Now, I use my knowledge and experience to help create a level playing field, ensuring equal opportunities for all.”
Through his leadership and active volunteerism, Jamal continues a legacy defined by resilience, innovation and a deep commitment to community. His work with JA Central Ontario helps equip young people with the skills, confidence and networks they need to thrive – particularly those who may not always see clear pathways to success.
By championing access, mentorship and representation, Jamal embodies the enduring influence of leaders who uplift others as they rise. We’re honoured to celebrate his leadership in shaping our present and building a more equitable future for generations to come.
