Different ways of giving
Leave a Legacy
Planning a legacy gift
Planning to leave a gift in a will, also called a legacy gift, allows you to leave behind an impactful and far-reaching legacy when you pass away, and it means we can be there for future generations. Legacy gifts are distributed after you pass away and can be made up of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your assets or a specific gift of stocks, bonds, or insurance policies such as the ones listed below:
Gift in a will
You can leave a charitable gift of a specific amount of money or a percentage of your estate in your will.
GIFT OF CHARITABLE REMAINDER TRUST
After your lifetime, any assets remaining in a trust will be used by JA Central to support their work.
GIFT OF LIFE INSURANCE
When you give through life insurance, the death benefit is typically greater than the premiums you paid.
GIFT OF RRSPS AND RRIFS
Registered Retired Savings Plans (RRSP) and Registered Retirement Income Funds (RRIF) can be donated now or after your lifetime.
