FAQ.

I registered for a JA Central Ontario experience this school year – why have I not received a program?

Unfortunately, due to high demand for our volunteer-led and teacher-led programming, we are unable to guarantee every registered class will receive a volunteer-led experience. As a charity, we are fully funded by generous partners and donors, who help us build capacity to deliver as many impactful programs as possible in the school year.

I want to run a JA learning experience this school year – what are my options?

Although we are unable to offer volunteer-led and teacher-led learning experiences for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year, it is still possible to bring JA programming to your class. Please click here to find out about our teacher-led opportunities and how we can support you in delivering this impactful program

How is JA Central Ontario funded?

JA Central Ontario is 100% funded through generous corporate partners and individual donors. Thanks to this funding, we are able to deliver meaningful JA experiences free of charge to students. Each of our programs is supported by these donations, allowing us to reach students across our region. We work continuously to secure and grow our funding to allow us to deliver programming to as many students as possible each year.

When will registration open for the 2022-23 school year?

Registration for the 2022-23 school year will open on August 29th – please click here to register.

Please note: if you registered for 2021-22 and your class did not benefit from a JA program this year, you will be automatically added to next year’s registration list as a priority. If you have any questions or would like to change your registration, please click here.

How can I guarantee a JA learning experience for the 2022-23 school year?

Unfortunately, due to high demand for our programming and limited capacity, we are unable to guarantee every registered class will receive a JA experience in the same school year. As a charity, we are reliant on funding from generous partners and donors, who help us deliver as many impactful programs as possible in the school year.

We work continuously to build funding and capacity to deliver meaningful learning experiences to more students across the region each year.

If you registered for 2022-23 and your class does not benefit from a JA program within the year, you will be automatically added to next year’s registration list as a priority.
