Become a JA Student Ambassador!

This is a unique volunteering opportunity for JA Company Program students to develop communications skills and spread the word about this life-changing experience. As an ambassador, you’ll encourage students to join Company Program by connecting directly with them and sharing your enthusiasm for the program online and in person.

Want to take it a step further? Ambassadors also have the chance to stay involved throughout the program year by creating fun and inspiring video content to engage youth entrepreneurs across Central Ontario.

Be the voice of JA Company Program and help others discover their potential!

As a JA Student Ambassador, you will:

Help connect JA Central Ontario with your school community and teachers
Share JA promotions and opportunities across your school, community, and social networks
Identify and suggest opportunities to promote the Company Program within your school
Reach out to student-led groups and councils (e.g., Student Council, Parent Council, Economics Club) to spread awareness
Share your personal Company Program experience on your own social media
Collaborate with JA Central Ontario to create content for their official social media channels

What We're Looking For:

A strong passion for JA and its mission to empower young entrepreneurs
Currently enrolled in high school
Previous experience in Company Program, and actively participating again this year
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable speaking with peers and encouraging them to join the Company Program
Confident being on video and sharing your experience on social media
An interest in creating engaging digital content, such as short-form videos

Take the lead in shaping JA Central Ontario’s social media presence, with hands-on experience in content creation and digital storytelling

Deepen your knowledge of social media strategy, creative video production, and digital marketing tools

Time Commitment:

Ambassador Role Overview: Timeline & Responsibilities

Phase 1: Recruitment (September–November)

Runs for 8 weeks during the Company Program Recruitment Period
You’ll work independently for about 1 hour per week
Focus on promoting the JA Company Program at your school and within your networks

Phase 2: Content Creation (Optional, November–April)

After the initial recruiting phase, you’ll have the opportunity to stay involved as a JA Content Creator!

Help keep the momentum going by creating fun, engaging video content to share on JA Central Ontario’s channels
Contribute 1 hour per month to produce short-form videos (e.g., TikToks or Instagram Reels) that showcase the student experience and inspire future changemakers

Interested students must submit the Student Ambassador application below by the deadline on Saturday, August 30, 2025.

Successful candidates will be emailed by September 4th, 2025.
