Join us as we celebrate our President and CEO, Jennifer Holmes Weier!
Jennifer will be stepping down from her position, effective November 22, 2024 – and we’d like to say a huge thank you for her leadership.
Since joining the team in October 2020, Jennifer has transformed JA Central Ontario into the relevant, impact-focused organization we are today. Through her expertise in non-profit strategy, equitable public policy and youth development, Jennifer has brought an exciting, fresh perspective to JA. Always grounded in the work of diversity, equity and inclusion, Jennifer has encouraged a culture of shared leadership, network building and championing young people in everything we do.
In developing JA’s latest impact strategy, Empowering a New Generation, Jennifer has ensured JA Central Ontario will continue to meet the challenges and opportunities of today and tomorrow. Jennifer led updates across the organization – advocating for youth-focused, equitable learning experiences; deepening partnerships and community relationships; and modernizing internal processes and structures. Thanks to this outstanding leadership, our student impact and presence in the communities we serve continues to grow. Information on the leadership transition will be shared in due course.
We wish Jennifer the best of luck in her future endeavours, and thank her for her dedication to JA’s mission, vision and values!
