JA Careers Unlimited inspires Brampton high school students to explore exciting career paths and develop essential employment skills.
The exciting field trip brings together 250 high school students living in Brampton. It will inspire students to explore diverse career paths and develop essential skills for the future. Participants will connect with local organizations, hear from engaging speakers and take part in a skill-building workshops.
What to expect:
- 250 high school students from Brampton will come together at this unique event.
- Inspirational industry expert speakers will share real-world stories and inspire students to consider future careers.
- Experts from a wide range of sectors – from skilled trades to finance and everywhere in between – will share their experiences and answer student questions.
- Mentor sessions led by over 25 volunteers will allow students to explore career paths and opportunities.
- Students will visit a career fair, where they’ll hear from our partner organizations about all the exciting early career opportunities available.
- Lunch will be provided for all participants.

- Mentor Sessions: Your organization will provide career mentors to connect with students in small group discussions. During the conversations, students learn about their educational and career journeys, discussing challenges, successes and advice.
- Career Fair: The Career Fair gives students the chance to learn about various career opportunities within your organization. Each sponsor will have a booth that students will visit. They're encouraged to bring branded signage and swag for the students and to be ready to answer a lot of questions.
