Every year, Junior Achievement (JA) Central Ontario empowers more than 60,000 students in Grades 3–12 with the financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship skills they need to thrive in a changing world. As a leading youth-serving charity, our impact is made possible by passionate leaders who believe in the boundless potential of young people.
About the Opportunity
Serving on the JA Central Ontario’s Board of Directors is an opportunity to help guide the strategic direction and long-term success of our organization. Working alongside fellow leaders from across business and the community, you’ll help ensure JA continues to deliver meaningful learning experiences that prepare young people for success.
The Commitment
Board members are asked to:
- Attend four Board meetings each year (approximately two hours each), plus the Annual General Meeting
- Serve on at least one Board committee
- Champion JA Central Ontario’s mission through fundraising and network-building
- Commit to a three-year term
Note: Board meetings are held in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format.
