What happens when the career you prepare for no longer looks the same by the time you enter the workforce?

For Asheesh Advani, CEO of JA Worldwide, the answer starts with mindset.
As artificial intelligence continues to reshape jobs and careers, young people entering the workforce will face more change than previous generations. He believes success will depend on their ability to adapt, learn, and move forward as careers evolve.
Asheesh’s perspective is also personal. Once a JA Company Program alum in Toronto, Asheesh had his first experience building a business and taking on a leadership role. It gave him the confidence to see himself as an entrepreneur.
Years later, Asheesh sees the same experience as an important part of preparing young people for the future. JA introduces students to mentors and career possibilities beyond what they already know. Through real-world experiences, students also build confidence and develop a stronger sense of what they can achieve.
For him, one thing is clear: preparing young people for the future starts long before their first job.
