A huge thank you to the individuals, corporations and foundations who increased our impact by fueling our mission. With this vital support, we brought JA learning experiences to students across our region. We know this year has been full of changes and opportunities – with the support of our partners, we continue to build resilience and adaptability in a changing world.
Highlights
A collaborative approach to raising awareness and funds
This year, we ran our very first peer-to-peer fundraising campaign. Our network spread the word and raised funds through friends, family and colleagues. Together, we raised over $25,000 in support of our flagship Company Program.

33rd Annual Governors' Celebration
We came together with partners, supporters and students on November 30th for our annual signature fundraising event - the Governors' Celebration. It was a pleasure to experience, as a community, the impact and importance of JA Central Ontario’s work. We were joined by representatives from over 40 organizations and over 70 students and alumni. We raised more than $284,000 to inspire our students and prepare them for a changing world. Our fantastic emcees, Bruce and Myah, took us through a packed agenda – we heard from inspirational alumni, gained fascinating insights into the future of work thanks to JA Worldwide and EY Global, and learned how we can all empower a new generation of JA students.
