JA Central Ontario was able to reach even more students through our digital experiences. We brought our three focus areas to life in a changing world:

FINANCIAL LITERACY
Our financial literacy programs went online, through virtual classrooms across the region.

WORK READINESS
Virtual events and networking sessions connected students and industry leaders through career events, workshops and innovation challenges.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP
JA Company Program students were challenged to build a completely online business, to prepare students for their digital future.

In addition to ensuring our learning experiences remained relevant and exciting, we also focused on modernizing our organization. This year, JA Central Ontario:

  • Reached gender parity on our Board of Directors.
  • Modernized our HR policies to reflect the equitable, inclusive organization we are today.
  • Transitioned to a hybrid working model reducing our travel footprint and promoting work-life balance.
