What an amazing year it’s been! Reflecting on the 2023-2024 school year, we’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished to support youth in our region.

Our mission remains steadfast: to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. This year, we accomplished this in many ways, in partnership with our dedicated teachers, volunteers and partners.

Over the past 12 months, we created 66,070 student experiences and engaged 520 schools with the invaluable support of over 2,100 volunteers and teachers, as well as our 81 generous corporate and community partners who supported  our learning experiences.

We soft-launched our new Boundless Potential Initiative to better reach  students in traditionally underserved regions. This project includes steps to guide growth, and address core accessibility and inclusion gaps. We’ll continue to build this project into the next school year: impacting Central Ontario’s fast growing, young population communities, connecting with historically underserved youth and bringing a reconciliation lens to all we do.

We continued to support local Indigenous communities through new partnerships with the Toronto and Durham school boards. Additionally, we launched a new JA volunteer portal to streamline our recruitment process and implemented a new digital fundraising strategy to foster a culture of philanthropy within our community.

As we look into the future with excitement, we are ready to continue seeding change, feeding growth and fulfilling our purpose, supporting our vision of a world where young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.
