Our Impact
Inspiring and empowering young people
Our 2022-2023 Year in Review
It’s that time of year again! Looking back on the entire 2022-2023 year was a wonderful experience for all of us at JA Central Ontario.
Our focus is always on inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy and this year we did that in many different ways, working in partnership with supportive teachers, volunteers and partners.
In the last 12 months, we reached 45,827 students and engaged 512 schools, thanks to the support of over 2200 volunteers and teachers, as well as 66 generous corporate and community partners who supported our programs this past year.
As an organization, we also welcomed our first emerging leader to the Board of Directors, continued our learning and development journey on the topics of reconciliation, DEI and accessibility, launched the JA global brand strategy in our region and created a new website. In addition, we also opened a new home for JA Central Ontario, designed to meet the needs of our remote-first, hybrid office model.
We are looking to the future with excitement, ready to seed change and feed growth in support of our vision of creating a world in which young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.
